How Do I Manage Converting My Old Medical Records?

Clineo offers a number of ways to manage the conversion of your old medical records, depending on your preferences and budget. Clineo and our conversion partners will plan a way that works for you.

Here are some two basic options:

Go Slow, Go Forward
This option focuses on reduced costs and easy manageability

• All new patients start with an electronic medical record.
• Each week the receptionist or other staff converts the medical records of the patients scheduled for the following week using the scanner provided with the Clineo system .

Rapid Progress

• All new patients start with an electronic medical record.
• Large blocks of files are converted using a high-speed scanner available from our partners and (optionally) a specialized conversion team. Files are prioritized by the office or medical staff.
• Work is done nights and weekends so as not to interfere with clinic operations.
• Scanned files can be stored off site. File rooms can be redeployed for other purposes such as additional exam rooms, a nurse's station or offices.
